Michael Fournier for Mayor of Royal Oak

​​Mike Fournier lives in Royal Oak with his wife Nicole and their three young children. He served as a city commissioner from November 2011 until he was voted in as Mayor in 2016. He has sat on various boards including the Royal Oak Library and the Royal Oak Parks & Recreation Board. Mike holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. His extensive professional experience in Business, Finance, Purchasing and Sales has been a tremendous asset to the city.

​Mike has served Royal Oak with integrity, honesty and passion. During his tenure the city has avoided fiscal crisis, enjoyed unprecedented home value recovery and witnessed some of the lowest crime rates in recent history.
